DAY 12/13: Coffee Bay

We say goodbye to the country of Lesotho and move on to the Coffee tree town (named due to a ship loaded with coffee beans that sank many years ago) The next day is all about Beaches, swimming, surfing and visit to a tunnel through a cliff in the sea known as ‘Hole in the wall’. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Xhosa village visit.

DAY 14 Addo Elephant National Park

The famous park where you are surrounded by 300 Elephants and other mammals is one of the highlights for most on tour. Its time to learn more about the Elephants and taking close up photos.

DAY 15/16 Garden Route - Tsitstikama National Park

We leave the Elephants behind and drive into the Garden route with its beautiful stretch of coastal forests and excellent bird life. From the worlds highest Bungee jump(210m) to the Tubing in the 11 rivers or Treetop tour, each one of these activities will be a challenge that’s no where else to be found. By just walking around in the forest with its fresh air and amazing sights is already more than enough to do. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Bungee jumping, Tubing, Treetop tour

DAY 17: Knysna (Heart of the Garden Route)

Only a few kilometres away from the Tsitskamma is Knysna known for its fascinating interesting town and lots of things to do from fishing in the lake to abseil from the Knysna heads. The entire day is up to you to shop until you drop! OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Fishing and Abseil

SOUTH-AFRICA is a big country with an extremely physical environment. One of the main reasons for coming to South-Africa, of course is to see the Big Five. We will visit 5 of the best National Parks in South-Africa. SOUTH AFRICA

DAY 1: JHB - Panorama Route

We start the trip by leaving out of the gold city Johannesburg to one of the best scenery drives from 1800m above sea level across the mountains of the Mpumulanga province. Along the way we visit the third biggest canyon in the world, Gods Window and Bourkes luck potholes. The evening will be spent around the camp fire just outside the Kruger park.

DAY 2/3: Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre - Kruger Park

Before we head in to Kruger Park we will first visit a Wildlife rehabilitation centre or do a guided game walk. Then the hunt is on searching for the BIG 5. For the next 2 days an unbelievable experience will be the optional activities of Sunset drives or Night game drives in open safari vehicle. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Sunset drive and Night game drive

SWAZILAND

DAY 4/5: Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

An early game drive to the exit gate of the Kruger Park on our way to the border of Swaziland.Mlilwane Nature Reserve with its African hut accommodation will be our home for the next two nights. To visit the real Swazi Culture in this area and traditional village is a good educational experience. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Horse riding, Mountain biking, Game viewing

DAY 6/7: Durban - Indian Ocean/ ST Lucia Wetlands

We cross the border from Swaziland back into South Africa.Travel all the way to the largest estuarine lake system in Africa known as the St Lucia Wet lands. The next day is all about the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the traditional lifestyle of the Zulu nation. At night we will explore the town of Durban and go for dinner in some of the best Indian restaurants.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Lagoon cruise on st Lucia. Dinner and night out in Durban

DAY 8/9 Drakensberg Escarpment

We now head away from the Indian Ocean for an inland experience of the Drakensberg Escarpment and the Royal National Park. The next day is at leisure to explore the surroundings by foot or horseback. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Horse riding, hiking

LESOTHO

DAY10/11 Lesotho Highlands

Up at sunrise, we will start the long drive to the land with almost no fence. After crossing the border in to Lesotho its time for climbing the mountains to reach our destination for the next 2 nights. The following morning will be an early day for those who join the local Guides for the “Pony Trekking” into the hills of Lesotho. The remaining guests are free to visit the local village, school craft market or just RELAX.

DAY 18: Outshoorn

Today is all about ostrich riding and visiting one of the most amazing caves in the world the Cango caves. On arrival we will visit the cave and the afternoon will be spend at the ostrich farm. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Ostrich riding and Ostrich farm

DAY 19: Stellenbosch

It is sad because it’s the last full day but we will enjoy it to the max. We head down to the centre of the WINELANDS and one of the first towns in South Africa –STELLENBOSCH. These 2 things together make it a tourist dream town. The mix of architectural style of Dutch, Georgian, Regency and Victorian is found in this town. We will visit Hermanus between June and end of October to watch the whales. The Last evening is spent together at a Restaurant to talk about the trip and all the memories.

DAY 20: Cape Town

We will have a good breakfast to start the day because it’s straight from here to wine tasting in the area. The last part is driving with Table Mountain in front of us, it means the END OF THE JOURNEY.
