The Kruger Park is one of the largest and most successful conservation areas in the world. Covering nearly 20, 000 square kilometers, the park is a vast stretch of wilderness comparable in size to Israel, Taiwan, or the USA state of Massachusetts. The park protects 2000 plant species (50 of which are endangered), 507 bird, 114 Reptile, 34 Amphibian, 49 freshwater fish and 147 mammal species.
DAY1: Johannesburg -
We start the trip by leaving out of the gold city Johannesburg to one of the best scenery drives from 1800m above sea level across the mountains of the Mpumulanga province. Along the way we visit the third biggest canyon in the world, Gods Window and Bourke’s luck potholes. The evening will be spent around the camp fire at the Crocodile river in Kruger Park.
DAY2/3: Crocodile Camp via Skukuza to Satara
Then the hunt is on searching for the BIG 5 for the next 2 days. We visit a few of the camps in the Kruger Park. An unbelievable experience will be the optional activities of Sunset drives or Night game drives in open safari vehicle.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Sunset drive and Night game drive
DAY4: Johannesburg -
An early morning game drive to reach the gate where we exit Kruger Park. We visit a few small towns for Curios and Crafts on the road back to Johannesburg.
